Smithgall Woods State Park

Five miles of trails and 18 miles of roads allow hikers and bicyclists to explore hardwoods, streams and wildlife.

Smithgall Woods is also an angler's paradise. One of north Georgia's premier trout streams, Dukes Creek, runs through this spectacular mountain property and is a favorite for catch-and-release fishing. To ensure a quality experience, the number of anglers is limited and fishing is offered only on certain days. As a result, anglers should call ahead for reservations.

Anna Ruby Falls

Anna Ruby Falls is a pair of beautiful waterfalls, cascading in tandem through a beautiful slice of North Georgia forest. The twin waterfalls spill from a towering cliff in wispy white tendrils before splashing and pooling over mossy boulders. It’s is a great North Georgia outdoor destination in any season – and its proximity to Alpine Helen and Unicoi State Park make it one of the most popular waterfalls in Georgia.

Hidden on a back street in Helen GA is a one of a kind attraction. There is something for everyone!
